December 13, 2021 (4 p.m. – 7 p.m.)
The Interdepartmental Center for Research Ethics and Integrity of the CNR is organising the third meeting of the “Vaccine Hesitancy Forum Covid-19” on the topic of “Covid-19 and routine vaccines: pandemic and vaccine hesitancy“, following the webinars of 8 January and 27 April, which were widely attended and covered in the media.
The webinar, as the previous ones, will take place in a round table format, with short presentations focusing on the impact of Covid-19 on vaccination coverage, with a particular focus on minors, and on the news that has emerged about vaccine hesitancy deterrents at this stage of the pandemic.
The event is divided into 3 sessions: the first is dedicated to the present and future of vaccines, with a focus also on Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) and Respiratory Syncytial Virus Infection (RSV); the second examines the vaccination plan data and the anti-Covid vaccination data; the third discusses the healthcare system and vaccines, as well as compulsory vaccination.
The webinar will be attended by leading experts on the subject: virologists, epidemiologists, hygienists, paediatricians, lawyers and health policy experts. The work is part of the activities of a permanent Forum dedicated to Vaccine Hesitancy set up at the CNR Interdepartmental Center and assigned to the scientific responsibility of Andrea Grignolio Corsini. The Forum’s purpose is to encourage the exchange of ideas and data, as well as to promote multidisciplinary networking on these topics and produce technical reports and position papers on the subject.
